Yay! I am sooo excited! My favorite Miami cupcake company, Cupcakes Nouveau, is finally opening a retail location! They just announced on their website they’re going to open shop on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, which is a perfect location for me to visit. Now I can just swing by for a cupcake whenever I get the craving. Eeeee!

So sorry I’ve been gone for so long. Life’s been unexpectedly way too stressful as of late and I haven’t had the time to enjoy the divine pleasures of shopping and adding to my ridiculous wishlist. But fret not, mama’s back!
The best news I have to share at the moment is that my friends and I have finalized our snowboarding trip for this year. Yay! Joy to the world! We’re heading back to Whislter Blackcomb Mountain in BC Canada. I’m so super excited. It is the best spot in North America to snowboard. I’m completely convinced. Just check out these mountains…
So it was another stressful, super busy weekend- worked a lot, but two of my prego friends and I did get to slip away for a few hours for a lovely brunch and a visit the Elemis Day Spa for a little TLC. I got an 80 minute deep tissue massage, and a manicure and pedicure. The massage was just not long enough. I think I need like a 3-day marathon massage. It definitely helped, but I still have a lot of pain in my back and neck. Apparently, I absorb all of my stress in this one damn muscle on my back. Aaaaaah! It is the bane of my existence. I told the masseuse that I thought she would have to punch me repeatedly to get the knot out and she responded by telling me she thought she needed a hammer. Ouch! I guess it’s worse than I thought.
Anyhow, a good time was had by all and we are definitely going to make an effort to have these little retreats a bit more often. Just sitting in the little lounge where you wait for them to call you for your next treatment was relaxing. The room was dim with soothing music, snacks, refreshments, and of course the super cozy, plush robes and chairs. Damn, I wish I was in that room right now instead of at my desk on a Monday. Ugh!
I would highly recommend a spa visit to anyone and the Elemis Day Spa was a great experience for us. We’ll be back, hopefully sooner than later.
So my highschool reunion is coming up in December and I’ve already started the hunt for the perfect dress. So it seems everyone I know is knocked up. My sister, my friend, her sister, her two cousins, my other friend…I think there’s something in the water. I’ve clearly been drinking soda, but I digress. Anyhow, this baby fever has got me on the look out for the cutest and trendiest baby fashions. Unfortunately, we have yet to discover the gender of any of these babies (well, they actually look like shrimp at this point) but that hasn’t stopped me from looking. Here are some of my favs:

I couldn’t resist; I had to buy the USB Vacuum. It’s way too funny to pass up. It doesn’t suck up crumbs from my keyboard as I would have hoped, but it does make the vacuum noise when you plug it in. It also grabs a lot of attention.
If you have nipples, they have betrayed you at some point. Maybe they volunteered to be thermometers without your consent, or decided to make an appearance beneath a sheer top. Well, fret no more. Now there are an assortment of products designed just for these problems. Here are two of my favorite.
The nipple cover to the left is a Gel Silicone Nipple Cover made of soft 100% pure silicone. These are reusable and can be worn up to 100 times. It is available in the petal shape seen here or a round shape. You have a choice of a sheer nude or brown color to blend in with your skin tone. They come one per package with its own storage case.
The nipple cover to the right is a Cloth Silicone Breast Petal made of 100% polyester on the outside and 100% silicone on the inside. These are reusable as well, but can only be worn up to 25 times with proper care. They are waterproof and are available in a nude or brown color. One pair is included per package.
I have yet to try these products myself, but my nipples and I are very excited to test them out. We’ll let you know how it goes.
