Yay!  My favorite Miami cupcake company, Cupcakes Nouveau, is finally opening it’s doors!  I’ve posted the flyer for the Grand Opening.  It’s Friday, January 30th, 2009 at 7pm.  I definitely suggest you make it out- they are giving out FREE CUPCAKES!  Yum!

Yay!  I am sooo excited!  My favorite Miami cupcake company, Cupcakes Nouveau, is finally opening a retail location!  They just announced on their website they’re going to open shop on Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, which is a perfect location for me to visit.  Now I can just swing by for a cupcake whenever I get the craving.  Eeeee!

So I went to my 10yr highschool reunion this past weekend.  I can’t believe it’s been 10yr’s already!  I was hoping more people would show up but it was fab none the less.  This was my final dress selection.  I got it from Anthropologie and I looked smashing, if I do say so myself…and  I do so I did!

I have two favorite foundations; one for daily use and one for special events or when I know I’m going to be filmed or photographed.  I’ve been using them both for some time now and they have yet to let me down.  So here they are:

For daily use, I love Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Powder Foundation Compact.  I just use a small amount of concealer on trouble spots and dust the foundation on with a big powder brush and ta-dah…set for the day! 

For a special occasion, or when I need a heavier and flawless coverage, I use Tigi Bed Head Dream Foundation.  My hair dresser and make-up artist uses it on me and it is perfect!  I use the application sponge that comes with the compact, use a little concealer if needed, then set with the Neutrogena Mineral Foundation.  I love it! 

So I’ve been officially lured in by all of the print and tv ads for this product.  I haven’t been sleeping much and I’ve reached utter desperation in search of a product that will combat the poofy morning under eye situation I’ve got going on as of late.  I’m going to begin my testing phase and give you the scoop.  Here’s hoping…

So sorry I’ve been gone for so long.  Life’s been unexpectedly way too stressful as of late and I haven’t had the time to enjoy the divine pleasures of shopping and adding to my ridiculous wishlist.  But fret not, mama’s back! 

The best news I have to share at the moment is that my friends and I have finalized our snowboarding trip for this year.  Yay!  Joy to the world!  We’re heading back to Whislter Blackcomb Mountain in BC Canada. I’m so super excited.  It is the best spot in North America to snowboard.  I’m completely convinced.  Just check out these mountains…
