So I started off, innocently enough, just looking for some new tweezers and I ended up wanting all of these other beauty tools. These are the dangers of me shopping. I was looking at Tweezerman tweezers because I’ve seen them recommended by eye brow master Sania Vucetaj, and I found all of these other little tools I want to try out. Here’s the list.

So it was another stressful, super busy weekend- worked a lot, but two of my prego friends and I did get to slip away for a few hours for a lovely brunch and a visit the Elemis Day Spa for a little TLC. I got an 80 minute deep tissue massage, and a manicure and pedicure. The massage was just not long enough. I think I need like a 3-day marathon massage. It definitely helped, but I still have a lot of pain in my back and neck. Apparently, I absorb all of my stress in this one damn muscle on my back. Aaaaaah! It is the bane of my existence. I told the masseuse that I thought she would have to punch me repeatedly to get the knot out and she responded by telling me she thought she needed a hammer. Ouch! I guess it’s worse than I thought.
Anyhow, a good time was had by all and we are definitely going to make an effort to have these little retreats a bit more often. Just sitting in the little lounge where you wait for them to call you for your next treatment was relaxing. The room was dim with soothing music, snacks, refreshments, and of course the super cozy, plush robes and chairs. Damn, I wish I was in that room right now instead of at my desk on a Monday. Ugh!
I would highly recommend a spa visit to anyone and the Elemis Day Spa was a great experience for us. We’ll be back, hopefully sooner than later.

I read about this product in New Beauty Magazine and I’m anxious to try it. Here’s what Janson Beckett claims AlphaDerma CE can do.
They even claim this product prevents and removes stretchmarks and scars. You can put it anywhere on your face and/or body. I’m quite intrigued and hopeful.
I’m loving this Borba product – Linen, Face and Body Reviving Mist. Borba claims, “This exclusive mist helps moisturize, revitalize and fight signs of aging on skin. When misted over skin and linens, the atomizer deposits antioxidants from Mangosteen Fruit, known to help fight free radicals that can compromise skin’s natural elasticity.” I love spraying it on my face when I’m at the beach. It’s refreshing on a hot day and smells super yummy!
Living in the year-round, intense Miami sun has made me super skincare conscious. I want to do my best to reduce the wrinkles, aging spots, and the risk of skin cancer that sun exposure can cause. Everyone knows I love Philosophy products and I just received this product as a gift. It’s the Philosophy Strawberry Milkshake Ultra Rich Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath. It smells soooo yummy. I love it! It leaves my skin super soft and lightly scented. My boyfriend likes this one too, so that’s definitely a plus.
